in the waiting line at a bookstore.

I was sandwiched between two people in the bookstore today. In front of me was a twentysomething female and in her hand was a black book with chess pieces on the cover. She asked for another copy of the same book from the boy she was with (also twentysomething and probably her boyfriend) so in her hands were two copies of the same book. Behind me, was a girl (also twentysomething), short and stout. She had a five hundred peso bill in one hand and the same book as the girl in front of me. The girl in the other line next to me, slammed on to the fully booked counter a stack of books from a series of a very popular television show. I was in the middle of all of them and I was holding on to crumpled bills and a Voltaire.
I felt so uncool.

(P.S. I went shopping with my mom today. I have new chucks!!!!!!!!!!!! (hohoho superpunctuation) and new shirts and underwear. HAPPYDAY)

Yesterday while waiting for Didi to finish her Psychology class, Dude, Jem and I were sitting on the AS steps. She was smoking and she asked me to make kwento. I realized that I have no make kwento about. Lately, I've been doing nothing but schoolwork and I've been going out with the same set of friends on an almost weekly basis.I'm with Didi all the time. I'm with Dude all the time. It's not so bad it's just that I can't make kwento. I can't. anything. (haha make kwento haha) Oh well, a bad apple can ruin the whole bushel.
The Phonebook Fairy's literary debut

Do you believe in Phonebook Fairies?
I DO I DO.

Yesterday in Creative Writing 10, Sir Carljoe created groups that involved separating me, dude, hazel, and didi, which I find very unfair. I don't want to go all, but theeeey're my friends kind of whiny with you guys, but think about it. Sir Carl said that grouping up with new people would give you new ice to carve (actually he said parodime but I refuse to use the word that I used in debate) and for me, that's just another way to say THE GRASS IS GREENER.
Well anyway, back to the phonebook fairies. The assigned work was to decide on an inciting incident and to develop it in to a full blown plot. My group decided on the inciting incident where in a girl wakes up one day and when she opens the door, she sees a stack of phonebooks blocking her way out. We then moved on to discuss how/why the phonebooks were there and after discussing a lot of reasons one of my groupmates said: let's make it magical, she upset a mythical creature and that was her punishment. PHONEBOOK FAIRY.

After class Dude and I started creating a back story for the phonebook fairy, despite the fact that we were never going to use it for my group's story. Basically, it follows the Peter Pan fairies thing with the clapping except when you say I DONT BELIEVE IN PHONEBOOK FAIRIES, a phonebook fairy dies and becomes a phonebook D: D: D: D:

Oh God I love UP.

Sari has this new pauso: She's been writing down all her dreams down after waking up. (Duh, as if she could sleep-write) She told me this during our impromptu date in McDonald's. I accidentally B.I.T.S. (bumped in to sari) a while ago on my way to National Bookstore to find more books to add to my (oh-so-tall) pile of unread books. (I'm not done with Para Kay B or Sense and Sensibility yet, even the book David Sedaris book Gela gave me for my birthday sits on my desk waiting for me)
Anyway, back to her little project, I wonder if someday she'll actually go through a certain event that she's actually written in her dream log book. I told her it wasn't going to happen since we don't remember our dejavus and I remember Didi telling me once that dejavus are just brain tricks. If Sari does end up telling the future, she'll probably end up in Dante Alighieri's Inferno (I'm not sure which circle) with the fortune teller's heads faced backwards. Sari, you don't want your head on backwards do you? Tying your shoe laces would be a pain. Then again, I'm not even sure if they have shoes in hell. Do they?
I miss high school. Well not really, I just miss the feeling of not caring. I envy the current high school seniors, because it's that time of the year where people just stop caring. I remember the feeling of abandoning my work pile in one corner of my room to watch an extra hour of Nanny reruns. I liked the infinite feeling of no repercussions.
Speaking of workload, I managed to cram 2 out of 3 sets of schoolwork tonight even with the occasional visits to Pet Society and Word Challenge. I still have to work on the Carljoe paper but I'll get it done by tomorrow. (I have to get it done by tomorrow) Midterms are coming up, I want to diiiiie.

This was very incoherent, I think I'll go sleep in the tub now.
COLD WEATHER WHERE ART THOU?

I have missed the feeling of my bed. These past few days, I have sat/napped/done homework on my bed but I haven't crawled in between my disney sheets and sun printed comforter and smother my face in to my extra long and fluffy hotel pillow. HOW I MISS YOU BED. I've been waiting for Thursday and it is finally here! I can finally sleep without worrying about out- of place keyframs and other screwed up Macromedia Flash problems.
This weekend, everyone but Ate Lora and I will be at home. We'll probably visit my other cousin to play croquet. I am so sleepy, I think my pillow is calling me.

Of Talented Best Friends and new music

Before anything else, I want to congratulate my best friend Sari for her amazing attempt to audition for SPRING AWAKENING. She's my most talented (and only) best friend so she deserves all praises. She went to audition this Tuesday and from what she said, she even almost backed out the last minute. Fortunately enough (and not so surprising) she followed through with it and even got called back to reaudition for the part of Ilsa. How great is that? Today, she went for her final audition, and just so you know, only FIVE people were told to come back to audition for the same role, and to top it all of, she was probably the youngest. I'm very proud of her for not only making the final cut (we have yet to find out if she gets the part or not) but because she actually went through with it! YAY SARI! I really do hope she gets the part. :D GOODJAB.

Anyway, back to regular programming, as I wait for my GREASE soundtrack to finish, I'd like to report that I am doing great. School's okay, a bit boring, a bit fun, a bit of everything. Chemistry 16 is challenging and long, but time flies faster in that class than Math 17, probably because I have Pearl on my left and Didi on my right. We kill time by not listening to Ma'am Pascual and by talking about sand igloos, pilot wannabees, THRUV2(my section)'s very own Edward Cullen and Pearl, a future PEANUTS character. I think that's also a reason why it's so hard to focus; it's difficult to listen to a lecture about moles and molarity when you can talk about personal space invaders etc.
I've been on a music downloading spree lately. Just recently, I had this strange lull between me and my ipod (who is currently named Peter Pan to celebrate my 18ness and how my complex grows even stronger and CURRENTLY because I might change it someday) and I spent more time watching ASK A NINJA and Chuck episodes than really listening to music. After a nice night of musicsoul searching ( jsyk, it's more important than soul searching) I finally broke the awkward silence by dumping new music. Lots of bands with girl vocalists, more Stars, more soundtracks and piano bands. I really love music, I'm glad I'm done with the pro-silence stage, it's much too quiet.

Short Music Meme.
1. put your player on shuffle.
2. the first ten songs that play you have to explain why they're in your player or why you like them.
3. no skipping!
(I took the opportunity to use the new nano's shaking feature for this one)

Lover Lay Down by Dave Matthews Band : It's part of my sister's beautiful playlist of romantic songs. Well not really ROMANTIC; we call it 'steady'. Steady + Romantic, Stomantic. It's a DMB song, you'd know what to expect: sexy saxophone, well written lyrics and a slower heart rate.

Can I Have This Dance (High School Musical 3 OST): Okay, okay, I'm not like those people who automatically dismiss teeny bopper films, quite the opposite, I enjoy them. I enjoy them in a trip trip way. People who take this sorta stuff too seriously are really boring, (no offence) and despite it's cheesiness, lack of talent (goood the singing), and brilliance in plot, I had a lot of fun watching this with my friends. Now, it's fun to remind ourselves of the fun by singing I WANT IT ALL, and I thought I might as well put the whole OST. It's fun! :D

Touchdown Turnaround by HelloGoodbye: It's hellogoodbye, I don't even have to justify--okay I will though. I love them, they're an instant upper. Best part is when I get to sing with Didi. pangaddik, ang saya kasi.

Kill The Messenger by Jack's Mannequin: I love Andrew McMahon, he's a very talented pianist and though he's not as good as Ben Folds, he's good enough for a feel good alone moment.

Breathe In by Frou Frou: I love Frou Frou more than I do Imogen Heap. Imogen Heap is dull. JSYK.

So Jealous by Tegan & Sara: I love me some talented singing lesbians! Some people find their voices annoying (heck, even I do on the wrong day) but they're good, I really like most of their songs. I don't get why some people really hate them. haha

Shiver by Motion City Soundtrack: NO NEED TO EXPLAIN KTHNXBYE

This Simple Plea by A Romance Thesis: "My Chemical Romance takes it to the academic level???" -Sari Estrada. Actually, they're really fun to listen to. After the whole anti-Paramore thing, I was determined to find bands with female vocalists that were good. Too bad Breezy, the vocalist of ART, left the band. I love her voice.

Sur Le Fil (Amelie Soundtrack): Amelie's OST has a lot of really well composed scores. I love the songs on the piano the best. Very French and very entertaining to listen to.

You Again by Kate Havnevik: AWESOME. Very cold music, almost like Frou Frou but colder and less techno-y. I can always imagine the city when I listen to her songs. The reason why she sounds similar to Imogen Heap and Guy Sigsworth's Frou Frou is because she asked help from Guy Sigsworth to produce Melankton.

It's a waste that I didn't get to share a lot of my favorite bands. A good number of them are up there though. No Sigur Ros, Clap your hands say yeah, Stars, Iron and Wine etc. I have a lot of favorite bands so it's inevitable. haha. God I love Music.

May you all have inner peace, NIGHT YO.

Hello world!
How is everyone today? Have you had good coffee today? Have you been to Starbucks lately? Just last week I got my hands on that Sbucks planner sticker card thingamajig and I thought to myself: wow, It really is Christmas!
I took that mouthful of cream and brown sugar from my toffee nut and knew right away that the Christmas carols were going to be a regular anthem in the streets, malls and restaurants. Thrilling isn't it?
Back in high school (haha, parang ang tagal na) I would get the worst grades in the third quarter because every Christmas, I would skip studying for the exams so I could wrap and prepare gifts. I'm glad that didn't affect my chances of getting in to a good college. haha.
Anyway, yesterday was the first day back in school. It's quite funny, I'm classmates with Pam, Annapai, Bea Fabros and Jonika in Sociology 10. It was so early in the morning and we were already noisy in our seats. I'm probably not going to make new friends this semester. haha. In Geography 10, I'm classmates with Yosh, John and three girls from my course. I sat next to Yosh the whole time and made fun of him and his expensive things. I didn't know he could dance! We learn new things about people everyday, indeed we do.

Oh and yesterday, I was able to talk to one of my good spoony friends, Hansky.

He is a very happy camper.
Check out his messy bed. Any conspiracy theories on why his sheets are unmade? hehe.

Oh well that is all, I have to go make preparations for my birthday. Everyone's forcing me to do something for my birthday and I still don't know what. Maybe I'll just skip it and prepare Christmas gifts instead. I love the holidays! :D

It's time to make that Christmas CD. see you guys :D

She also knew that Didi was off to Jon's bedroom because she had already attempted to do so earlier that night during their game of Twister and Didi was in charge of spinning the arrow. Isabel's left foot cramped up because of Didi, but Didi ditching Isabel's turn to pour out her hopes and dreams hurt her more than her cramped up leg.

And yes, Jackie sleeps with her glasses on.

------

So I missed the sleepover last night because of my disturbed stomach and post-removals stress.I did though, call them while they were watching El Orfanato seeing Didi was texting me about it and I was calling her a bitch and a cunt and telling her I hate her so much in Spanish. She told me how Isabel said AAAY when the woman put on Benigna's clothes. hahahaha. She also told me about her clandestine attraction for Jonathan, isabel's THIRTEEN year old brother. I ended up making lewd jokes about it.
El Orfanato = win, Isabel, Jackie, Didi = Win, El Orfanato + IJD =DOUBLE WIN
Aww, SLEEPOVER AGAIN SOON PLEASE. THIS TIME I'LL ACTUALLY GO. hahahaha

tihi.

I remember hearing 'Happiness' by Goldfrapp as my nightmare's soundtrack which for me has to be the most terribly inappropriate song for this dream.

You can never escape Math 17.
It haunts you in your sleep.
I'll go crazy if I have to take it again. o:

Then why is everyone planning their November birthdays now? I never got birthdays and celebrations. I think I'm inherently bad at planning.
People have blocked off the weekends before and after my birthday. I really wanted to have a fun and <strike>wet</strike> picturesque birthday with my friends (Picnic with balloons and other fun stuff) but I guess I can't anymore since people have plans. huhu

UNAHAN KO KAYONG LAHAT.
THE WEEKENDS BEFORE AND AFTER NOVEMBER 26, 2009 ARE MINE OKAY?

haha joke lang. <strike>
</strike>

Yay.

I'd rather spend my time close to the birds rather than waste it wishing I had wings. (House)

Met up with Alexis today! We went on a daaate. (YAY)

While we were there, I said 'Tangina, labo ng Bambi, binaril nanay niya' and Alexis started laughing really hard. She found it so funny, she started saying it over and over again as if it were a pick up line.

We are more or less, only a week away from the season premiere of "The Office". COUNTDOWN NA TO. I am ready to welcome back Dwight, Michael, Pam, Jim and Angela back in my life. I love The Office so much it kills.

Physics was so boring today. Our teacher was so funny, especially when he was talking about bird watching (sounds wrong) and how there are around 70+ species of birds in UP alone but when he started talking about nanotubes, I instantly spaced out and eventually I fell asleep.

I rode the LRT2MRT with Job to Makati (I had to go meet my sisters) and I bought a bonnet from Greenbelt that Job wanted to buy for himself and now he's TOWLLY(haha sari) mad at me because he believes that there should be intellectual rights. Sorry Job. :))

When he left and while waiting for my sisters I bought two more bonnets (THEY WERE SO CUTE AND COLORFUL) and and and nailpolish. I spent all my week's allowance on one day. K. (There goes my savings)

My mom came home from HongKong! I got a new hoodie! IT'S GREY AND PRETTY. I like grey. I hope it rains tomorrow. xD I also have a new dress and a shirt and a new minnie mouse umbrella that matches my Plueys.
1. I can't get over how much I missed Reality Bites. Thanks to CJ, I've been watching it everyday for the past couple of days. The dialogue is really witty and there are too many quotable quotes. It's one of the most unconventional love stories I have ever watched and witnessed. Sir Vlad would probably kill me for saying that since apparently, all love stories are the same but for some reason, it really is different. hmm. ♥ Troy Dyer > Troy Bolton anyday. haha Oh and the soundtrack is really nice. They have my favorite U2 song in the movie, guess which waaan.

2. Deyt kami ni Sariponggs kanina. I downloaded Sommersturm last week and I gave Sari a copy so we were both already done with watching the movie. Instead of sticking around to rewatch the German gay film, we ended up going to KAinanatTAGpuan to eat pancit and barbeque. woo. Fun date. Fundeyt.

3. We watched Decameron in English 11. I didnt like the text and I didn't like the movie either. :/ Ang labo talaga. They kept showing penises. It was disturbing and wrong. Oh and the people in the movie couldn't act. According to JJ, the director's gay (hence the showing of the male genitalia) and they got normal people instead of actors (hence the bad acting). Bad film talaga.

4. Andrew helped me with my math homework. OKAY AWESOME. I actually finished my homework FOR ONCE because of Andrew. Thank you berimany.

5. Job made jokes out of my name. They're so corny pero benta.

Ano ang sinasabi sayo ng mga tao tuwing kaarawan mo?
MALIGAYANG BATE!!

Ano ang bati sayo pag isang taon na kayo nagsama ng boypren mo?
HAPPY LISANNIVERSARY!!

Ano hirit sayo pag tinatamad?
BILISANE MO!

at least it's not the usual, DEBATE/MASTER BATE jokes I usually get. haha

5. I saw RC in the CASAA today. He made this super strange but funny hirit while I passed by him with my snowee. (snowee, parang slurpee ng 7/11)

me: *eats mouthful of snowee with my mouth*
RC: Sana ako na lang yung slurpee.

ampuuuuu. :)) benta.

"And the world spins madly long" daw.
Eto yung akin. Good luck to me!

6. Back in third year, Didi used to tease me for getting peeved when people called their mp3 players "mp3". She would say it over and over again: "mp3 mp3 mp3 mp3" and I'd get really pissed off; almost like a person with OCD because I feel like I have to correct it or at least punch someone or something. I still get pissed off when someone says MP3 instead of mp3 player or "ipod" (kahit di naman ipod, mas okay na yon).

7. Last friday, we didnt have Physics 10 and so Chantal, Ash and I walked back to AS and Ash and I were singing Backstreet Boys songs on Chantal's ipod. Which TOWLLY proves that UP may be lonely but it can be TOWLLY unlonely too. Thanks Chantal and Ash.

8. Tasha, a UP graduate and a family friend, told me last Saturday that it's hard to find new friends in UP and that your high school friends that go to UP will probably your college friends too. With that, I'm already saying sorry to Didi, Isabel, Dude, and Annapat: YOU'RE STUCK WITH ME. NO ESCAPING NOW.

9. Hugh Laurie, Hugh Dancy and Hugh Grant: Kill, Shag, Marry?
Shag: Hugh Dancy
Marry: Hugh Laurie
Kill: Hugh Grant

Why are they all UK kids?

and finally:

10. I can't wait for the sembreak.

Andrew brought Mars to ball though.
Lisane Tanjangco: Oh is Mars Chinese?
Caela Tanjangco: No, she's from AC.

HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA CAAAELA!!!

Billie's party was so much fun.
okay, I'm not a fan of the band Paramore but I am a fan of John Mayer, (his guitar skills are ftw) so I was pretty upset when I saw this video. It's not all that bad though. He makes the song un-paramore. (No offense to Paramore fans, it's just a difference it taste) Okay, please play with other cool bands now plez. JOHNY MAYER AND JACK'S MANNEQUIN or JOHN MAYER AND STARS (HAHA ANG LABO NON) oh well PAPEL.
